What's the difference between "Weatherman" and "Weather Worker"?

Our local paper The Press Democrat had an embarrassing headline today from their editorial crew and the local weather service.

It was a collective apology for the recent TOTAL EVACUATION of Russian River Communities in the wake of a thrice predicted flood that frankly never materialized.

And this comes after a number of intense firestorms that caused massive evacuations in October of 2019 all the way from Healdsburg and Windsor to the Pacific Ocean. 

Then the fires were stopped mysteriously and miraculously literally in the BACK YARDS of Windsor Healdsburg and larkfield with so little damage a disaster couldn't even be declared! 
Almost every neighborhood spared completely.
There's some egg on your face!

Then there was the 2020 Glass Fire. The whole east side of the city was under evacuation. Then "poof" once again the fires stopped.  And the poor Press Democrat has to trot out ANOTHER excuse. "A minor miracle" the headlines declared!

Friends. Please don't tell the Press Democrat or those Emergency Services people who is responsible for their embarrassing record of years of errors. Someday when my team will no longer be on the job their services will be needed!

But some of us know the difference between a "weather man" and a "weather worker". 
The former complains about the weather... and gives proper warning.
Weather Wizardry
The latter does something about it. 

Just sayin'.
