ZION Part 4: King David's Speech

After a long weekend of teaching and miraculous healing sessions I was hoping last night to get some lovin' from my adorable angels. 
But it was not to be. Rudely awakened at 2 am ... high noon upon the gates of Jerusalem. My precious queen Elizabeth was clothed in no sexy negligee ... but in her finest Royal Regalia.  
And here we stood together above the Gates of Jerusalem. Where an angry crowd of many thousands of dead Gaza citizens were ... apparently ... expecting a speech from the Arabian King of Israel. 
And it was a tough crowd! (For my American readers ... think not July 4th but Jan 6. )

My fedayeen(fellowship of Afro-Arab and Jewish warriors)had gathered the multitudes. 
They were all still reeling from a terrible Israeli assault. 

At 2 am my speech powers are pretty limited. I did have other plans. But the cries of the multitudes and the stern look of my Queen quickly silenced my objections. Here is my speech:

"A terrible wrong has been done to all of you! But please understand that this is not the fault of the Jewish people! All of you have been cursed by an ancient wrong! A wrong that it is my duty ... all of our duties here ... to make right!!"
"My namesake King David has long been portrayed as the conqueror of the Philistine ... Palestinian! Armies and the building of the city of Jerusalem and the Kingdom of Israel. 

But the Bible tells us (I Samuel 31. Among other sources) that King David was a CHAMPION and a GENERAL of the Philistine armies!! Who abstained from the great battle on Mt Gilboa where Saul was killed. ... only at the request of the Philistine Kings councilors that feared David betraying them.  
So they won david his throne!! 
The people of Gaza were Philistines! Palestinians! And it was the King of the Philistines who with David conquered the wicked King Saul and claimed the royal regalia from Saul for King David!"

"It was a Palestinian King who gave King David his crown. It was a Palestinian King... from Gaza! Who helped David conquer the "impregnable" fortress of Mt. ZION. 
So that on this Mt. Zion could be built the city ... not of conquest. But the "City of Peace": JERUSALEM.  
I know it is my task to rebuild the city of peace. A peace between Jew and Palestinian that King David once forged in the martial fires of Mt Gilboa. 
"We do not know what cabal of racist evil conspired to deny and finally destroy the peace and EQUALITY of David's realm.  
"But we can cast such blame later". (Im looking intently at the thousands of HAMAS terrorists impaled upon the walls). 

Now I need your help. All of you. Because we have a much greater battle to fight. The battle to bring Jew and Arab together is important not only to build a New Jerusalem. A new Israel. Our real battle will be for the Freedom of Women! And their Equality! Throughout the Muslim world. For that I will need all of your will. All your courage! And your compassion. For the battle that lies before us."

Then, raising my scimitar ... given to me by a Yemeni freedom fighter a decade ago... I shout "who is with us?" And am met by a chorus of thousands of ululations. 

Every victim from Gaza is rescued by a team of the Arabic fedayeen and Jewish "sisters of mercy". Every child is given a "buddy"  to whom they are responsible for protection friendship and care. They are instructed to hold hands as much as possible.
