I’ve been a Certified Clinical and Alchemical Hypnotherapist since 2002, following completion of David Quigley’s 350 hour training program. At that time I had a Computer Science degree and a 16-year background as an engineer, yet felt intensely ‘called’ to leave the corporate world for a career in the healing arts and sciences. Throughout the years I’ve maintained my practice while continually adding to my skill set.
I particularly enjoy that my Alchemical training provided effective tools for working with clients to build confidence, to open up creative channels, overcome performance anxiety, find one’s true calling and move forward with it. I love helping people become happy and optimally effective in their lives!
Another area has been healing from trauma and/or abuse -- whether from a difficult childhood, an abusive situation of any kind (domestic abuse, for example), and even war trauma with veterans. I help them heal and regain peace, confidence, and a toolset to use in their lives (since healing from major trauma doesn’t always happen quickly.)
My Alchemical Hypnotherapy practice integrates such modalities as EFT/tapping/meridian therapies, which I teach to clients to use on their own. These can be very helpful as calming and self-soothing techniques; I feel that counterparts of the troublesome dynamics are stored in our energy anatomy. Tapping, when integrated with Alchemical Hypnotherapy, helps release the old patterns to make way for the new ones.
I’ve also studied pranic/energy healing and Reiki, as well as flower and gem essences, and can make recommendations if the client is interested, to use these as adjunctive therapies.
My Clinical and Alchemical Hypnotherapy practice is based in Roseville, CA and greater Sacramento, CA areas, and I also do phone sessions. My sessions are nondenominational and respectfully geared to the client’s belief systems, religion, or lack thereof. With Alchemical Hypnosis, we start wherever you are.
