Are the programs approved?
The Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis (AIH) is a private institution, owned and operated by David Quigley since 1984. The Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis was founded for the purpose of preparing students to work as professional hypnotherapists. We also offer classes for personal growth and career enhancement. Hypnotherapy is a self-regulated profession in the USA thus no licensing is available or required. Our programs and instructor are approved by The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. The NGH is a not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Initially founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950, the Guild is a highly regarded professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism. The Guild is a resource for professional hypnotists and hypnotherapists and a vehicle for legal and legislative action. Each year the NGH holds an educational conference which is attended by hypnotists from all over the world. For many years David Quigley has been a Faculty member at the NGH Annual Convention; in 2010 he was awarded with the Order of the Braid in recognition of a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication and service.

Why Should I Take The Alchemical Training Rather Than Another Hypnosis Course?
There are many exciting hypnosis trainings being offered in the US. Before taking any course, research the field thoroughly and make sure you are taking the program that is best suited to your needs. Then consider the following: 1) The course and the trainers you are considering should be approved by a highly regarded third-party hypnosis organization: Both the instructor and the programs offered by the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis are approved by National Guild of Hypnotists (www.ngh.net). 2) The school should have permission to operate as an education provider in the state in which you plan to study: The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) has approved the application from the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis, for exemption from regulation under the California Private Postsecondary Education act pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section 94874(f).

What Makes Your Programs Special?
We are the only hypnosis program in America that trains you in how to work directly with the client’s inner guides and higher self as the primary source of healing. We provide state of the art instructional quality and materials. Our workbook is used in hypnosis trainings throughout the world. It contains the best technology available today for healing the "inner child", rescuing the child from trauma and neglect of the past, and providing that child with new, loving parents from the inner world. We provide the most extensive and thorough in-class supervision of any hypnosis program in America. Each afternoon the class is divided into groups of three or four students working under the direct supervision of a trained hypnotherapist who is a member of our apprenticeship program. This 1:4 teacher student ratio is unequaled anywhere in the hypnotherapy training field. This program is thus able to generate a profound personal growth experience for every participant. This transformation of the student is a primary goal of our training.

We provide the most extensive training in, "Past Life Regression" available today. Topics Include: 1. Clearing past life traumas 2. Bringing forth creative abilities from past lives 3. Do You Provide Support For Establishing A Practice?
Also provided is state-of-the-art training in building a successful practice including: 1. The Client/Therapist Relationship and ethics 2. Marketing your practice in your community 3. Networking with professional peers and community 4. Medical referrals 5. 25 hours of the training are devoted to this important material 6. 25 hours on weight loss and smoking (and other common issues) 7. Students give and receive a supervised hypnotic session almost every day of the program.
