Innate talents such as those exhibited by great composers and artists are a result of subconscious memories of abilities developed in former lives. Other learned abilities from past lives may include proficiency in the arts, writing, leadership ability, relationship skills, cooking, manifesting abundance, teaching, exercise, martial arts, parenting... and many more. There is a way to tap into these creative reserves in the current life, for immediate use in the present day. Alchemical Past Life Regression allows you to access those talents not only during visits to the hypnotist, but in the normal course of your life as well.
Matching Past Life Needs To Current Life Needs
The first stage of the process is to induce the client into a moderately deep trance asking the subconscious mind to take the client to a past life in which they developed a particular talent. After examining how the past life self used these skills in their own time, the client and therapist perform a mental rehearsal involving both the past and the present self using these skills together in the client’s current creative environment. For example, a client who wants to strengthen their leadership skills after a recent promotion to a management position accesses a past life as a medieval king. First we observe the king’s leadership in action in his native land; if the king’s skills are impressive we bring him forward to assist the client in a management challenge the client now faces. If we see value in this new partnership, we proceed to the next step. If not, we keep searching.
Discovering And Releasing Blocks
The next step is to examine the past self’s entire adult life. Traumas may be discovered which block the flow of this creative energy. An example is a past life recalled by a client as a Chinese Emperor who decided never to rule or lead others again after losing a costly war. We may also need to seek atonement for any misdeeds committed in that past life and persuade the past life personality to leave undesirable behaviors behind.
Merging Current And Past Life Skills
If all goes well in this thorough scrutiny, we then ask two critical questions: 1) Does the Past Life Personality wish to join the current self, bringing forward all memories, wisdom, and abilities into his present life and 2) Does the client wish to bring the Past Life Personality forward. If the answer to both questions is a strong "Yes!" then the last stage of the process is to link this powerful union to the client’s creative opportunities and challenges. An immediate shift in attitude, posture and energy is often apparent. It is of critical importance that the client be required to call upon this new resource frequently if not every day, and to report their results to the therapist. Any skill not practiced is quickly lost.
The Power Of Our Personal Mythos
This process has great power as a metaphorical inspiration for long term transformation, even if there isn’t a belief in the literal reality of past lives. Like the stories of great saints, heroes or saviors, we can learn to call upon our own personal mythos whenever we face creative opportunities or challenges.
