Keys to Prosperity

"I'm in the dungeon. I'm shackled to the wall." The vision in the hypnosis session was so clear.
In real life, I had finally manifested my dream job. This was going to be the pinnacle of my career, the opportunity that would catapult me into the prosperity that had long called to me... and which long evaded me. I finally had the perfect opportunity to make my financial dreams come true. Nothing could stop me now.
Yet after six weeks, I was the only one on the sales team of new hires that had not yet made my first sale. My colleagues had averaged four sales each. Everyone was scratching their heads trying to figure out what was wrong. I looked the part, acted the part... yet I wasn't performing.
It became embarrassingly clear, in the cold light of corporate day, that it was more than an issue of product or sales training. I began a deep search for answers in the only place where they exist... within. I had to remove the block in consciousness that was preventing me from actualizing my financial potential before the cash could start flowing. I entrusted this "psychic surgery" to David Quigley. After experiencing a deep and lasting emotional healing of childhood traumas (that no other therapy could resolve) during his one-month training a year ago, it was time for a tune-up to deal with this present-time issue.
At first I didn't trust the visions I was getting in the session. A dungeon, a princess, a castle... it all seemed so "storybook", yet there they were.
I had been a privileged princess, beautiful and talented. There I was playing the piano, dressed in the finest, most opulent dresses befitting of a princess. Kind-hearted and good-natured, what could have landed me in the slammer from this life of luxury? What did I do to deserve such a cruel twist of fate?
Although I was good-natured, I was completely narcissistic. Life centered around me. Servants indulged my every need and desire; I had no responsibilities to anyone but myself. When the royal court was overthrown by invaders, I became their prisoner, suddenly swept from riches to rags, and tossed in a dungeon.
Through the session, David helped me to see clearly how this karmic knot could only be unraveled by surrendering to my newfound fate as a servant and approaching my present-day clients as my masters whom I eagerly desired to serve. Not to impose my own agenda as a salesperson who needs to make a sale, but to focus whole-heartedly on making their dreams come true with my luxury product. Approaching the sales process with humility and a sincere desire to serve would be the only way to complete this karma and work my way through to a life of prosperity and privilege once again. Selfless service was the karmic lesson that I needed to learn to mitigate my former narcissism. I spent the next week at work applying all that I learned from this session. It worked.
The following week I made three sales. On the day I made my third sale, I was relegated to the conference room that no one liked to use and therefore it was empty and available. It was a dark and cold room with no window and too much air-conditioning, which, I had just learned, a few sales people affectionately called... "the dungeon!" There it was in real life... the dungeon! And to think I had doubted the vision of my hypnosis session, dismissing it as "too fairy tale!"
As I set up my presentation materials in the "dungeon," my old inferiority complex began to rear its head and I could feel my mood sinking as I thought, "I'll never make a sale today if I have to give my presentation in the "dungeon." After a few minutes of feeling that old familiar wave of "poor me," I remembered the lessons of the session David and I had done the week before: Serve your clients, cater to their needs, show them how your product can enhance their lives, don"t worry about your need to make a sale, focus on their needs which your product can fulfill. Serve your clients with love and a positive spirit.
I cheered up, rearranged some of the furniture in the room, looked around and thought, "How perfect to make a sale in this very room. This is the perfect setting in which to demonstrate the shift in my karma: I'm converting the dungeon into a palace!" I made my third sale that day and because it happened in that very room, knew that an important karmic shift had taken place. I had made the breakthrough in consciousness. I was out of the dungeon at last!
As my sales manager accompanied me to my new office he said, "Oh you're in the dungeon." "Not anymore!" I replied emphatically.
