As a family therapist, I've often observed powerful

our pent-up feelings about those who have passed on or are
otherwise unavailable. This was a powerful one for me, in
which I had a dialogue with my real-life mother. I found
myself supporting her in overcoming a crisis. The music
on this tape, by Bruce Becvar, was light, lively, and acoustic,
which I like very much.
Starts with a progressive body relaxation
and leads into a garden. The music by Kit Walker is serious
and deep, evoking a feeling of being in a sacred place.
I entered the garden to meet my inner child, and as I established
contact with my child self, the music became infused with
nature sounds, appropriate for this special meeting. I took
my child in my arms, and felt a shift on a deep level: the
child felt happier, and the adult-child dialogue followed
in which each told the other of their respective needs.
The music became joyful as a dance ensued, the adult and
the child celebrating their union in what each can offer
the other. I experienced the satisfaction of a feeling of
wholeness.

side A takes a journey back down the river of time to
past lifetime memories, where creative resources could be
drawn upon and brought into present-day reality.
Perhaps my favorite tape in the series. My own
experience on this journey was extremely powerful, as I
entered into the tension in my jaw, met the "the guardian"
who lives there, and through dialogue with him and pulling
down the 'movie screen', reviewed past memories from childhood.
As a child of five, feeling neglected and unloved, I decided
that it was hopeless, that I had better meet the unfeeling,
uncaring world out there with a jaw firmly clenched, both
stifling the scream that wanted to come out and as a silent
protest against the poor quality of nourishment available
to me. The newly found relationship with this guardian would
prove to be crucial for future work and letting go.

They are easy to listen to; Nick Ardagh's style can only be
described as "impeccable." The music intensifies the
journeys. I found it a welcome addition to the material, and
the timing of shifts in the music with the journeys you have
to experience for yourself!
