The following client story has had certain surface details changed
so as not to reveal the clients identity while retaining the integrity
of the dynamics and outcomes.
An artist came to me to overcome his apparent unconscious resistance
to making money. He had received critical success and awards but still
could not break through to earning the level of income he desired and
that he and his advisors felt he should be making. After a few months
of working with me, using the Alchemical process and doing lots of inner
family work, the artist received a major award in his field and his
income more than quadrupled. It has continued to climb. I believe the
artist is fairly wealthy at this point.
Next, this artist wanted to find a lover and partner with whom he could
make and keep a long-term commitment. The artist had no trouble attracting
women but had never been in a successful, long-term relationship. We
did lots of inner family work and his inner mate became strong and clear.
Then, we stopped and left the rest up to fate. Within about two years,
the artist had found a mate beyond his expectations--attractive, intelligent,
compassionate, adventurous, and professionally and financially successful.
After living together for awhile, they married and have stayed happily
married for a number of years, probably at least three, by now.
Later, I got a call from the artist, saying he was going into the hospital
for major surgery and was suddenly scared to death. By phone, I conducted
one hypnotherapy session with him shortly before the surgery. He immediately
calmed down. In keeping with the post-hypnotic suggestions, the surgery
was successful, the client bled very little, felt no pain afterwards,
and recovered more quickly than his doctor had predicted. His medical
team expressed amazement at how calm he was going into surgery and by
his rapid recovery.
